INTERDISCIPLINARY INTEGRATION PERSPECTIVE: THE INTERACTIVE MECHANISM OF E-COMMERCE POLITENESS, KNOWLEDGE SHARING AND CROSS-BORDER WOM-EN’S CLOTHING USER EXPERIENCE
Authors: I-Ching Chen* & Yi Zhong
ABSTRACT
Against the backdrop of rapid global digital trade development, users in the shopping process not only value the quality of products themselves but also increasingly pay at-tention to emotional experience and perceived interactivity, and as a core consumer category in cross-border e-commerce, women’s apparel has seen growing concern for users’ online purchasing experience. To this end, this study, based on e-commerce po-liteness theory, employs the critical incident technique and purposive sampling to sys-tematically collect and analyze user reviews of autumn–winter women’s apparel pur-chases on cross-border e-commerce platforms, identifying the core factors that affect the experience. The study found that in satisfied incidents, “product quality” accounted for the largest proportion, followed by “product practicality”; in dissatisfied incidents, “product quality” and “wearing experience” accounted for the largest proportions, fol-lowed by “commitment effectiveness.” Combining e-commerce politeness with the crit-ical incident technique, this study focuses on the cross-border autumn–winter women’s apparel sector and provides empirical references for identifying and improving user ex-perience in this category; at the same time, it regards e-commerce politeness as an im-portant carrier for knowledge transfer and information management in cross-border e-commerce, and constructs a user-experience analysis framework from an interdisciplinary perspective.
