Peer-Review Process

At the International Journal of Social Sciences and Management Review (IJSSMR), we follow a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality and integrity. Our peer-review process is as follows:

Initial Submission: Upon submission, each manuscript is first reviewed by the editorial team to ensure it meets the basic requirements and scope of the journal.

Assignment to Reviewers: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then assigned to two or more independent experts in the relevant field. These reviewers are selected based on their expertise and knowledge of the subject matter.

Double-Blind Review: We use a double-blind review process, where the identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept confidential. This ensures an unbiased evaluation of the manuscript.

Reviewer Evaluation: Reviewers assess the manuscript for its originality, methodology, significance, and clarity. They provide detailed feedback and recommend whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.

Author Revision: If revisions are required, the manuscript is returned to the authors with the reviewers’ comments. The authors are expected to make the necessary changes and resubmit the revised manuscript for further review.

Final Decision: After considering the reviewers’ feedback and the revised manuscript, the editorial board makes a final decision on whether to accept or reject the manuscript. The decision is communicated to the authors, along with any additional comments or suggestions.

Publication: Once a manuscript is accepted, it is scheduled for publication in the next available issue of the journal.

This structured process ensures that only high-quality research is published, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
