A comprehensive strategic partnership between India and the EU matters immensely to both Europe and Asia. India’s Vision 2050 posits that a strategic alignment with global partners, coupled with internal reforms, is essential for India to emerge as a leading global power. The document argues that addressing historical grievances, enhancing trade relations, and fostering cultural exchanges are critical to achieving mutual objectives and ensuring a prosperous future. Findings: 1. Economic Goals:The vision outlines ambitious economic targets, including a GDP of $10 trillion by 2050 and achieving net-zero emissions by 2055. 2. Sustainability Initiatives:Collaborative efforts in renewable energy and environmental conservation are emphasized as vital for long-term sustainability. 3. Cultural and People-to-People Ties:Strengthening cultural exchanges and educational programs is identified as a means to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation. 4. Security Cooperation:The need for enhanced defense collaboration and joint exercises to address regional security challenges is highlighted. The document employs a qualitative analysis of geopolitical trends, stakeholder perceptions, and historical contexts. It synthesizes insights from various sources, including academic literature and policy frameworks, to propose actionable strategies for reforming the United Nations Security Council and enhancing India’s global standing. India’s Vision 2050 presents a roadmap for transformative change, emphasizing the interconnectedness of economic growth, technological advancement, and social inclusion.
